Money orders and cashiers checks are accepted through USPS Mail and should be made out to The Birdhouse Chick.

Personal checks are also accepted but must clear the bank prior to your order being shipped. Returned checks will incur a fee of $35.00. Payments by check may be mailed to:

If paying by mail, please be sure to print your order or specify item number(s) and purchase info with your payment.

For custom-made orders, live meal worms, and large items shipped via motor freight, discount codes may not be eligible. Additionally, some handmade artisan items are excluded from discounts, because these items can be tougher than pulling teeth to track down! You may also have an expired discount code. If you have any questions about your code or think you may be receiving a code error message by mistake, please get in touch. We’re here and happy to help.

Please be sure another family member didn't already bring the package inside. Sounds silly but this happens quite often! The driver may have left the box somewhere other than your front porch. Please check around your home to see if the box was possibly left at a side door or garage. Sometimes packages are scanned while still on the delivery truck- without being delivered :(  Please give it one more day to see if your order arrives.

Only for items purchased within the state of Georgia or being shipped to Georgia, in which case there is a 7% state sales tax. No other states incur a sales tax. This policy will likely change in the near future due to new tax laws for online sellers.

First impressions count, and we take great pride in a thoughtful presentation of your order. We want items from The Birdhouse Chick to be more than just a box in the mail… we’re providing an experience.

We make every effort to go above and beyond when we package and ship your order. If you’re buying a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion gift, you’ll have an option to let us know during checkout via the “gift” checkbox option (or you can always contact us). In most cases, when we’re shipping in-house items, we can gift wrap your order free of charge.

Please note that for items shipped by one of our distributors or other artists, for especially large items, or if you’re placing an order at a high-traffic time (such as Christmas), we are unfortunately unable to honor gift wrap requests.

We use FedEx, UPS Ground, and USPS Mail. With a focus on both quality and reasonable rates, we always try to use the most economical service for our customers. Note that some items may ship from different artists or locations, which can extend shipping times. Please see our shipping page for detailed info about rates.

We've currently suspended shipping into Canada. Should you require Barn Swallow Nest Cups for a project- please contact us as this product is available for Canada shipping.
