Unique hand carved wood birdhouse is totally functional. Not your typical bluebird house! Hand carved artist's rendition of an Eastern bluebird. 1-1/8" opening is perfect for chickadees, warblers, and other smaller songbirds. Trap door on belly makes for easy spring clean out. Screw eye hook with heavy hemp rope for easy hanging. This birdhouse makes for a great conversation piece, and nesting site for your backyard birds.

Please Note: The manufacturer does suggest a thin coat of polyurethane if houses are to be kept outside year-round. This will not only preserve the paint, but helps birds immensely during frigid and wet weather by giving them places to roost, and protection from predators.
