Hand carved and painted to look like the real thing. Totally functional birdhouse has a trap door on the belly for yearly spring clean out. Entrance hole measures 1.25" and is perfect for wrens, titmice, nuthatches and others. Complete with screw eye hook and heavy hemp rope for hanging. Please Note: The manufacturer does suggest a thin coat of polyurethane if houses are to be kept in severe weather. This will help to further preserve the paint, while immensely helping birds during frigid and wet weather. Birdhouses will offer them protection from predators and places to roost.
