Durable, vinyl coated mesh bag holds 7.5 cups of thistle, or nyjer seed. Vinyl mesh is stronger than most nylon thistle socks. Wood roof on this finch feeder protects seed from weather too. Birds cling to the bag while feeding– and are able to feed upside down as well. Simply hang from a tree branch or hook with the attached cord.
