Shipping Policy

All in-stock orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours. 

For orders within the continental 48 states: items shipped USPS priority mail are usually received within 2-3 business days of shipping.

Items shipped UPS Ground are usually received within 4-6 business days.

USPS Priority Mail International is available for Canada deliveries for $25.00. Transit times vary from 6 to 10 business days. 

For orders in Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico a surcharge of $10.00 will be added at checkout. 

International shipping is available, but you must call or fax us for rates. Additional taxes, tariffs, duties, or fees may apply on international orders, and thebirdhousechick.com assumes no responsibility for these fees.

We offer FREE shipping on orders over $75.00--purchased gift certificates are not included.

Backorder Policy

In the event we are out of stock on a particular item, you will be notified via e-mail or phone.  You will have the option of waiting until the item becomes available, or receiving a full refund immediately upon notification of the backorder.

Return Policy

If you are not pleased simply call us within 7 days of receipt of your item for an RMA code (return merchandise authorization) and you may return the item within 14 days of purchase for an exchange or refund.  Unfortunately, shipping fees are not refundable and there may be a 20% restocking fee on some items which will be deducted from your refund due. 

All items must be returned in original packaging and in re-salable condition. We will do everything within our power to make you happy.  If the item was received damaged, please notify us immediately so that we can schedule a pickup for return.  You will have the option for a repacement, or a refund.

Damaged Goods Policy

Should your purchase arrive damaged, simply call us upon inspection of the item. 866.478.8265.
Please keep all packaging materials and let us know the condition of the item and packaging materials.

You will be asked to re-pack the item, so that a pick can be scheduled through UPS.
A replacement item will be sent upon receipt of the original merchandise, or if you choose, a full refund issued back to you.
