Green Solutions Bluebird Feeder

Keep mealworms reserved for bluebirds with a traditional fly-In bluebird feeder. Blues are one of very few birds who will actually enter a feeder, although Carolina wrens may figure it out first!

Durable recycle plastic won't crack, split or fade, still looks new after many seasons! Non-porous material is easier to clean, lifetime warranty too. Clear roof provides better views and protects worms from the elements (and thieves).

Two holes sized for bluebirds for entry/exit, includes mealworm dish. Sturdy wire cable for easy placement, hang from a branch, bracket or feeder pole.

    Bluebird Feeder

I was trying to find a bluebird feeder that would keep out Starlings. This feeder seems to keep out all birds. We currently have several bluebird feeders for our large flock of bluebirds and the Starlings take advantage of any ledge or lip to stand on and reach inside for a meal worm snack. I thought that this feeder might work since the bluebirds can fly directly into the feeder but the Plexiglas on the top and sides seems to confuse them. I took out a side panel but so far, there is no interest. It seems like a good idea but my bluebirds aren't interested.

Hi Sheryl, We trained our bluebirds to fly inside the meal worm feeder by allowing the plexiglass panel to rest on the cup of worms. Place the cup half inside and half outside until bluebirds begin using it. Once comfortable, center the cup inside the feeder and close the panel. Please keep us posted!

    great idea

have not gotten any bluebirds yet, will take suggestion and remove one of the panels until they get used to it. Otherwise it is really neat.

    love this

it's light weight and see thru. I do have a few bluebirds none have actually gone inside. I put live worms in every morning, still hoping they'll take advantage of the house

Please try removing one of the panels until bluebirds become familiar with the fly-in style feeder.
