The feeder has been up for 7 days...fully geared up for birds....not one thus far. I live on the green belt in Austin, so no shortage of, coyotes, and, at least at both neighbors bird feeders, a plethora of birds....cardinals, finches, blue jays, dove, etc. I have , sunflower seeds and assorted other goodies for the....hope springs eternal...birds. I haven’t given up, but it’s not looking good. Worst bird feeder is definitely the coolest looking one.

It does take the birds some time with a new feeder, especially since they're already accustomed/familiar with your neighbor's bird feeders. Creatures of habit :) Don't despair... you can change up the game enticing birds to your yard. Consider running a sprinkler for a few hours each day as moving water really gets their attention. Also, the sunflower you're feeding; try sunflower hearts (or meats). Also called sunflower kernels, more birds are apt to feast plus there's no waste at all. Another option is to offer some meal worms. Dried worms will do fine... unless your neighbor happens to be feeding live worms! Please keep us posted!

    Beautiful & well-made!

The feeder arrived quickly in perfect condition. The porcelain bowls were wrapped very well to protect during shipping. The metal pole is two pieces that attach with threaded sections. It's sleek and sturdy at same time. The angled tip makes driving into ground easier. The metal unit fastens to poke with single screw (included as well as Allen wrench). It goes together in no time and looks amazing once in place. I highly recommend this feeder for anyone who wants a touch of modern design in their yard!
