    Acrylic tube

I did not know that the acrylic tube was gong to be a cut off piece of a longer tube. It will not last. If you look closely at the cut edge you can see that acrylic cracks which will expand with hot and cold temps. It eventually breaks apart. I am going to try heating the cut edge to melt the acrylic and eliminate the cracks.

Yes, these are cut from 6 ft. tubes, and will last. They will break if a tree falls on your feeder, or the feeder falls to the ground due to unstable installation, and lastly- if the lawn mower happens to kick up a rock while mowing. If your feeder tube is cracked and was accidentally missed while packing- please send a photo so that we may see the flaw. Thank you-
