Screech Owl House

Good looking Owl House accommodates screech and saw-whet owls, even hosts kestrels and flickers.

Handcrafted of durable cedar, it offers ample room for mom and owlets. Locking easy to open front clean-out, proper ventilation and drainage with 4-inch entry make the owl house a perfect nest site and roost for these larger birds.

Most owl houses are actually used for roosting year-round, and often times other large birds will re-use old nests in these man-made boxes.

Hunting mainly at night, screech owls are active at dusk and dawn as well. Their main prey is insects and small animals. Since they hunt mostly at night, squirrels, songbirds and chipmunks are relatively safe around your place!

Screech owls reside in both urban and rural areas. Installing a nest box helps these species thrive while naturally taking care of any rodent issues on your property.

Owl Houses are complete with info and wood shavings for an inviting abode. Mount 10-15 ft. above ground.

For the Dad who has everything

He is really impressed with the simple, sturdy craftspersonship and quality design of this owl house. We've places it on a tall while pine, let's see who comes to visit. And I think this is related - when we returned home to Brooklyn, a peregrine falcon stopped by on our balcony to hang out with us during a rain storm. We may need another house here too :)
