Suggested Seed for the All Weather Feeder:
Black oil sunflower may be used, although safflower or sunflower meats work best. Mix these seeds to attract cardinals, chickadees, finches, goldfinches, grosbeaks, juncos, nuthatches, sparrows, titmice and more! Striped sunflower seed is not recommended with the All Weather Feeder as it's too large to fit through the feeding slots.

This is one of the best feeders I have ever used. My last one of this model gave me good service for 10 years which is saying a lot in the sun and heat in central Florida. I finally replaced that one with 2 new ones in 4 and 6 quart size. I’m looking forward to 10 more years of bird feeding. By the way, these keep the seed dry even through the daily rains we get during the summer. No more seed going bad.
We live just north of Seattle, where it rains constantly. I hung this feeder outside of our kitchen window where the intrepid chickadees located it immediately. All of the smaller birds are enjoying the feeder. As advertised it took only a moment for them to figure out how to make the seed drop down. I'm also delighted at how large the hopper is. I have to climb a ladder to fill my feeders (cats!) and this will save me several trips up those steps!

Customer service was great. My only issue was that I have larger birds that could not fit in where the food is dispensed.

Sturdy product
I had different style bird feeder and suet feeder and yours looked like a great idea. However, my cardinal male won't use the big feeder and my woodpeckers have not attempted the tail prop suet feeder. I left yours up but have had to rehang my old feeders again, Any suggestions? But the seed is staying dry, finches and titmice are using the all weather feeder.

I spent a long time eyeing this feeder before I bought it. I finally pulled The trigger and I am so glad I did! Here in Central Florida, it rains almost daily and this feeder keeps my seed dry and accessible to the birds. No more soupy mess to clean out of the feeder tray and I won’t have to worry about the birds running out of seed because of rain when I’m away! So far, bigger birds like doves have not been using it. I think it’s too tight a squeeze for them. I love this feeder!
Overall experience we great, beginning to end. This is my second feeder. A lot of feeders either have a small capacity or the seed gets wet. This feeder is perfect. Holds a lot, and the design keeps the seed dry.

We needed a snow/ice/rain proof feeder that was easy to clean, fill and could be used by a wide variety of birds. This one really works! I purchased a second one so I could just switch them out when it was time to clean and refill. Excellent!
I am satisfied with my purchase of new bird feeder and with enough birds to fill the eating area the birds thank you also.My new feeder replaces a hooded feed holes which the Cardinalswould not eat.I am happy to see them eating now!
I love this feeder! The seed stays DRY when it rains. The cute little house finches use it the most. I have actually seen two mourning doves trying to feed there, but it is too small for them. As for the company, the owner is WONDERFUL! She went out of her way to make sure I could mount it like I wanted to. Thank you so much! Thinking about getting another one next year.
We have been having major wind storms (called Taku's here in Alaska) with the wind exceeding 60 mph and gusts to 75 mph in exposed areas. Just happened that I received the bird feeder the night before the storm and hung it out on a overhang hook not knowing the storm was coming. It held its own! Most of the stuff on my deck will break or blow off, it usually blows the bricks I have holding down a deck rug.Funny... it's holding up so well that I have to shake it to put seeds in the lower tray since they aren't used to pecking upward! That's okay; the chickadees are the last to leave and they are still coming by (the little hoarders!) to peck at what fell off the last feeder that wouldn't have lasted. Just wanted to let you know it worked out perfect.
