Solar Pump is available in one-piece unit as shown, or with separate panel and 10 ft. cord. This allows the birdbath to be shaded while the panel receives sun (depending on your set-up). Panel does require full sun to operate.
Sans the spray heads, the bubbler is recommended for hummingbirds. Tiny solar pumps have big power- fountain spray may overshoot the bowl depending on UV index and wind. Solar Kit features 3 fountain heads, works best when used as a bubbler.

United StatesI wanted a hanging bird bath with a low maintenance fountain. That’s what I got. Looks good. Sounds good. It’s easy to assemble with few parts and no energy costs. The only thing I did was shorten the chain the bath hangs from. So far so good.
United StatesWell, I have mixed feelings about this product. It doesn’t bubble with any attachment. The closest is a short spray. We have a breezy backyard and cannot use the spray as it blows the water out in a very short time. We will not be using it with the fountain unless we are outside able to watch it before it empties and wears out. Although the bath is pretty. It’s quite expensive for a hanging dish. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed in the product.
We do suggest using the solar pump as a bubbler to avoid water loss. Both in product description and on the blue "Tips" sheet enclosed with orders. Did you receive this blue paper? Attachments for spray patterns require a large bird bath at least 20" in diameter. One customer enlarged the holes in attachments so the fountain wasn't so forceful to cause water loss. There may be a protective film still on your solar panel. Direct and full sun is required for the pump to operate. Debris inside the pump could also compromise the fountain. Have you taken the pump apart and cleaned the impeller (spindle). Above suggestions may improve performance of the solar bubbler.
