Give climbing vines a natural-looking place to grow with this black metal twig trellis. Three slightly twisted vertical rods form the frame, and leafy twigs sprout inward to fill the body, each one crossing horizontally through the frame for added support. The twigs share the same gnarled look as the rods, and the detailed leaves show off the hand-forged craftsmanship.

It stands 72 inches tall and just 10 inches wide, so it adds height without taking much room. Push it into the ground and it is ready in minutes. Plant a climbing vine at its base, or let it stand on its own as a sculptural garden accent. Because each trellis is hand forged, individual pieces may vary slightly.

Where to place it

• In a garden bed: set it toward the middle or back as a vertical accent.
• In front of a fence or wall: stand it a few inches out so your plants have room to climb and air can move behind it.
• Along a path or by an entry: at only 10" wide, it adds height without taking much room.
• Sun: pick a spot that matches what your climbing plant needs, and keep in mind the shade a tall trellis casts on shorter plants.
• Wind: push it firmly into the ground and avoid very exposed, windy spots.
