Black Wrought Iron Arch Garden Trellis, 65" Tall
Black Wrought Iron Arch Garden Trellis, 65" Tall
Description
Give climbing plants a classic place to grow with this black wrought iron arch trellis. A gentle curve across the top and serpentine rods through the middle give it a timeless, sculptural look, and three horizontal rails add support for vines and stems. It stands 65 inches tall and 25.75 inches wide.
The legs push into the soil, so it goes in wherever you want height and structure. Pegs and eyehooks on the edge of each unit let you link several together into a longer screen, and the horizontal supports can hold compatible flower pot rings (sold separately). A black powder coat protects the iron from rain and snow.
Specs
- Size: 25.75" W x 65" H
- Construction: wrought iron, black powder coat
- Rails: round, 0.375" diameter
- Mounting: legs insert into soil
- Linking: pegs and eyehooks on each edge to connect multiple units
Where to put it
- In the middle of a garden bed: as a freestanding focal point behind or among plantings.
- Against a fence or wall: a black metal frame stands out against greenery and light siding. If you attach it to a wall, leave a little space behind it so air can move around the plants.
- Linked in a row: connect several arches for a screen, a border, or a backdrop along a path or garden entrance.
- In the sun: most flowering climbers want about six hours of direct sun, with some, like climbing hydrangea, tolerating part shade.
- Anchored well: push the legs firmly into the soil so it can handle wind and the weight of mature plants.
