    Fruit & Suet feeder

Excellent quality. I have it hanging on my deck with an apple, no birds yet though.

Unique fruit holder for birds but Not functional

I was Really looking forward to using this because of it's unique design, but there is no place for the birds to stand! I put 1/2 of a pomegranate in it, and I watched several birds very interested in it, but there's nowhere for them to land to pick out the seeds. This will probably be the same situation for any kind of fruit. I'm very sad because I loved the unique design and thought it would make for great photos with the birds, but it's just not functional.

    The Birdhouse Chick

Hi Lillie, So sorry for the delayed response. The feeder is functional as we've seen orioles use ours at home. To give your birds an easier time, you could create a simple perch. Attach a dowel (or even a small branch/twig) to the underside of circle area. Using floral wire or similar in an "X" fashion would secure the perch to feeder. Hope that helps and you're able to use the feeder for the birds! Thanks
