    Blue bird feeder

After 4 weeks, the blue birds gave up trying to get the seeds. I tried leaving off the one white rod and the birds still gave up. Took the feeder down and threw it in the garage.

So sorry, but the bluebirds are seeking meal worms. If you already have bluebirds feeding in your yard, spread a few dried worms on top of the feeder to entice the birds. Offering live worms inside the dish usually does the trick!

    Bluebird cafeteria!

The Eastern Bluebirds love this feeder and so do I. I was skeptical at first but the parents and fleglings did not hesitate to enter and eat, What really impressed me was how frustrated the robins and northern mockingbirds became. They could not figure out how to squeeze under or over the bar!

Carolina wrens love private feeding station

It didn't take long for the wrens to find the meal worms. And I love The Birdhouse Chick.

    Well made feeder

Shipping was very fast, the feeder is beautiful, well-built, sturdy. Made of materials that won’t rot and I don’t think squirrels can destroy. We bought this for our small birds, mainly bluebirds, because a mockingbird has taken up residence in our yard and is bullying the smaller birds, mainly the bluebirds nesting in our yard. We were pleased to see the mockingbird couldn’t get in and eat all the worms, that is until about the fourth day, when the male mockingbird got in. So, although we haven’t seen any starlings or other larger bully birds get in, the mockingbird can. All in all, however, I give this an excellent review.
