Rustic Cedar Log Suet Feeder | Hanging Suet Bird Feeders
Rustic Cedar Log Suet Feeder | Hanging Suet Bird Feeders
Description
Rustic and simple, this cedar log suet feeder gives clinging birds a natural place to eat. Woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees and titmice feed upside down on it, while non-clinging birds like starlings, grackles and blue jays can't feed here. That gives your shy downy woodpeckers a real chance to eat.
Each feeder is a solid Northern White Cedar log with the bark removed and the surface roughened so birds can cling. Four holes fit suet plugs, and they work just as well with Bark Butter® or peanut butter.
- Material: solid Northern White Cedar log
- Size: 3-1/2" diameter, 16" long
- Four holes, each 1-1/4" wide, drilled partway through
- Fill with suet plugs, Bark Butter® or peanut butter
- Large open-ended hook for hanging
Good to know
Natural cedar may arrive with splits or cracks, or crack as it dries. That's normal. The cracking stops at the core and won't split the log in half, and the cracks hold peanut butter well.
